Being scared to look at yourself

Growing is a layer by layer, cyclical process.

Mouth full ain't it? Lol.

What I really mean to say is that it's damn messy! 😆

The last few weeks I have recognized:

*I think love is in scarcity

*My desire for connection will allow me to ignore red flags

*I'm far more courageous than previously thought

*I've got some theories concerning anxiety that I am super excited AND super scared to put out there (oh the irony :-)

Sometimes the best we can do at the time is become aware of a truth, then we can act on that truth.

"Don't be afraid to get to know yourself, you'll practice self love, self forgiveness, and self compassion."

For instance it's certainly painful to realize that I operate in a state of lack concerning love and relationships in my life. But it's also a great opportunity to focus on finding loving abundance in my life where I previously missed it.

It's also great to work on self love and self compassion because *missing* something or noticing not having something within myself can certainly trigger feelings insecurity if I let it.

All this to say that self reflection is an amazing process on your growth journey. Occasionally you learn a lot about yourself in a short period of time. Sitting around navel gazing can seem boring, or useless, or scary even; but the pay off is tremendous!

When you know better you can do better. When you're aware something in your life can change and improve.

Don't be afraid to get to know yourself, you'll practice self love, self forgiveness, and self compassion. It makes your heart so full when you practice them. It clears away clouds in your day and provides grace and optimism to keep you moving and thriving.

Happy growing!
